Student Leaders - SL Teams page updated with as many photographs and groupings as I could find to date. Each week at Namanu Outdoor School, a new group of high school Student Leaders arrives to teach the Animals Field Study curriculum. These brave souls learn from and support each other, laugh and share stories, and persevere even when they're more tired than they have ever been before. Some return again and again, some only participate once—but all are valuable components to our learning community. Here they are at the end of their week: dirty, tired, and happy.

Student Leaders - Field Study Rubric page finished. 1-6 scale of evaluating performance of Student Leaders on field study. Student Leaders are evaluated on their performance on field study at the end of each week in three areas: instruction, personal management, and teamwork. A 6-level rubric is used to determine scores, and improvement is expected when Student Leaders return in future sessions. Student Leaders are also evaluated on their performance in non-field-study related responsibilities, with a separate rubric.
